The aspect of Personal Training that I value most, and I feel that all my fellow co-workers will agree, is our ability to guide our clients to success through the relationships we build, the knowledge we share, and the motivation we instill in others. Nothing is more rewarding than watching our clients aim and reach for their goals, and of course, celebrating the joy of success with them.
Without you, this wouldn’t be possible for us as trainers.
Your journey to a healthier and more fit life is ours as well, and this Thanksgiving, we want to thank you for all the hard work you’ve put in; for all the sweat, tears, laughter, and for all those burpees.
To celebrate this holiday, we recently held our second annual P1F Thanksgiving party for all staff, clients, and alumni, simply to show our appreciation for you. We had nutritious holiday foods, complete with a take home menu and recipes. There was great music and vibes as always, but the company we had was even better. That’s really what this holiday is all about; gathering together with family, friends, and loved ones and sharing our thankfulness for what we have and for each other. This year, regardless of your weight or muscle mass or body fat percentage, please look deeper into yourself and be thankful for the person you are. We see that person, we love that person, and you should as well.
It’s so very easy to become consumed with distractions these days that we unfortunately overlook the little things, and these little things are what really matter. Sometimes you don’t realize how valuable or how precious something or someone is until it’s no longer there, so this Thanksgiving, don’t sweat the small stuff. Be thankful for all the little, seemingly ordinary things. Most of all, be thankful for yourself, what’s beneath your clothes, whether you’re a size 2 or a size 14.
We are thankful for you, and if you couldn’t attend this year’s Personal 1 Fitness Thanksgiving feast, be sure to keep us in mind next year. Once again, there will be great food and amazing company, because at Personal 1 Fitness, we are family.
Have a safe, happy, and healthy Thanksgiving!
Carlos, Steve, Kavita, Angelo, Morgan, Pam, Desiree, and Mary
