Your challenge for the next 14 days is to plan out your meals and write a menu at the beginning of each week. This habit will help you NOT over buy in the grocery store because you will know EXACTLY what food to purchase and how much of it you need based on the size of your family. It also allows you to physically SEE how you are eating, which is why so many people keep a food journal; it helps them eat better.
So don’t plan on pasta 3 nights in a row! Try to incorporate more fruits and veggies in your menu with the addition of any of the cheap and healthy foods from last week’s blog.
